Refunds & Returns

We take extraordinary measures to protect your sound. Every component leaves our facility in “Studio-Ready” condition, secured in specialized, high-impact packaging. However, we know that the journey from our warehouse to your ears can be unpredictable.

1. What to do if your package arrives damaged

If you notice visible damage to the outer shipping box (crushed corners, punctures, or signs of moisture), please follow the “Audio First” protocol:

  • Document Before Opening: Take clear photos of the damaged box from multiple angles before you break the seal.

  • Video the Unboxing: For high-value items like HIFI towers or amplifiers, we strongly recommend filming a continuous video of the unboxing process.

  • The 48-Hour Notification Rule: Please report any cosmetic or functional damage to support@seashell-squid-708391.hostingersite.com within 48 hours of delivery. High-fidelity claims require prompt reporting to hold specialized carriers accountable.


2. Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your soundstage. If your gear isn’t hitting the right notes, here is how we handle returns:

  • Standard Return Window: You have 14 days from the date of receipt to initiate a return for most items.

  • Condition Requirement: To be eligible for a full refund, items must be in “As-New” condition. This includes all original internal packaging, manuals, calibration microphones, and accessories.

  • The “Original Box” Rule: Never discard your original product packaging within the first 14 days. Audio equipment is precision-weighted for its specific box; returning it in generic packaging significantly increases the risk of damage and may void your refund.


3. Return Shipping Costs
  • Defective or Damaged Items: If your item arrives faulty or damaged in transit, Dropsasa covers 100% of the return shipping costs and will prioritize a “Fast-Track” replacement.

  • Change of Mind: If you decide the sound isn’t for you, return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We can provide a discounted shipping label through our partner carriers, the cost of which will be deducted from your final refund.


4. Non-Returnable Items

To ensure hygiene and technical integrity, the following cannot be returned once opened:

  • In-ear monitors (IEMs) and earphones.

  • Phonograph needles/cartridges (once mounted).

  • Custom-terminated speaker cables.


5. Refund Process

Once your return arrives at our Quality Control Center, our technicians will inspect the unit to ensure it meets our “As-New” standards.

  • Inspection Period: 2–3 business days.

  • Refund Issuance: Once approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method (M-Pesa, Credit Card, or Bank Transfer) within 5 business days.

Pro Tip for Audiophiles: Most high-end speakers require a “Break-In” period of 40–50 hours before they reach their intended frequency response. If your system sounds “tight” or “thin” out of the box, give it a few days of playback before deciding on a return!
